Azerbaijan. A number of policy i mplications are deducted for Azerbaijan based on
the case of the UAE. Despite the fact that the application of the same policy
recommendations cannot have the same consequences for Azerbaijan, but studying
the diversification experience of the UAE is useful for the academia and policy-
makers in Azerbaijan which the paper tries to highlight.
