The analysis of the Azerbaijani higher education market in recent years shows that a
number of trends have been observed. One of them is the increase in the number of
students in recent years. There is an increase on demand for higher education in
Azerbaijan. There seems to be a huge increase in the number of students in public
higher education institutions between 2005/2006 and 2018/2019 academic years.
